S.E.A. Aquarium breaks two Guinness World Records.




RESORTS World Sentosa’s S.E.A. Aquarium is now the official record holder of two Guinness World Records – it is the world’s largest aquarium and has the world’s largest acrylic panel in its Ocean Gallery.

Some fun facts:

  1.  It is the world’s largest acrylic panel is equivalent to two rows of three double-decker buses stacked atop one another.
  2. The S.E.A. Aquarium holds more than 42.8 million litres of fresh and salt water. That’s enough to fill more than 17 Olympic-size swimming pools!
  3. The first marine animal introduced into the Open Ocean habitat on 22 June 2012 was a batfish.
